John Lasseter To Preview ‘Cars 3’ At Detroit Auto Show

Pixar's John Lasseter to preview a new sneak peak at 'Cars 3' at the Detroit Auto Show ahead of the Monday night debut of the film's trailer.

According to the Detroit Auto Show, Pixar’s John Lasseter will be in attendance and is set to begin their press day on Sunday with a presentation and sneak peak of Cars 3. Just this past week we got the first preview of the trailer for Disney and Pixar’s upcoming sequel Cars 3.

However, this is one day earlier than the scheduled trailer that is due to air during the NCAA football game on Monday, January 9. So are they the same sneak peaks? Two different ones? It’s doubtful that Disney and Pixar would reveal two different versions so close together, but it’s possible. Is the sneak peak actually the trailer?

Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers, the legendary Lightning McQueen is suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves. To get back in the game, he will need the help of an eager young race technician with her own plan to win, inspiration from the late Fabulous Hudson Hornet, and a few unexpected turns. Proving that #95 isn’t through yet will test the heart of a champion on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage!

Cars 3 stars the voice cast which includes Owen Wilson, Bonnie Hunt, Larry the Cable Guy, Paul Dooley, John Ratzenberger, Cheech Marin, and Michael Wallis.
