John Wesley Shipp Dons 90s Flash Suit In Elseworlds Set Photo

Stephen Amell has taken to social media to reveal John Wesley Shipp returning as The Flash in the Arrowverse’s upcoming mega-crossover event, Elseworlds.

The latest set photo shared by the actor not only reveals Shipp’s return to the Arrowverse, but reveals the actor suited up in his classic Flash costume from 1990 television series, confirming Barry’s speed force vision from the show’s sophomore season.  Check it out below!

Plot details remain under wraps but this year’s crossover will feature the introductions of both Batwoman (Ruby Rose) and Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane along with the return of Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman who previously made his debut on Supergirl. Green Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl will visit Gotham City after learning about the machinations of an Arkham Asylum doctor across the episodes.

The 2018 Arrowverse crossover event starts with a special episode of The Flash on Sunday, December 9 and continues with Arrow on Monday, December 10. The three-night event concludes with Supergirl on Tuesday, December 11. All three entries will air at 8:00 p.m. ET on their respective nights.
