John Wick Is Totally Down With The Avengers’ Goal In Endgame

Earlier today, a collection of character posters for Marvel’s highly-anticipated Avengers: Endgame showcased the remaining survivors of Thanos’ snap as well as the numerous victims that succumbed to his wrath – whether it was through painful deaths or turning into dust. This all leaves Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and new recruits eager to Avenge the Fallen. This call to avenge fallen friends is a message that even John Wick (Keanu Reeves) resonates with.

You heard that right. John Wick, who is set to return to theaters this summer in his third film John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum endorses the goal of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in Endgame. This was revealed on the official Twitter for the new John Wick film, which responded to a fan poster that depicted him ready to Avenge his fallen puppy from the first film that was released in 2014:

The tweet uses the line, “Whatever it takes,” which is prominently spoken by numerous Avengers in the latest trailer for the highly-anticipated film. After all, given that these heroes witnessed their friends, family and others disappear before their very eyes, they’re ready to live true to their title as… well… Avengers.

Also, despite being from a different cinematic universe in his own right, John Wick would honestly fit perfectly with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in Avenging the Fallen. Anything to bring down the bastards that dare threaten to kill any more dogs.

Here is the synopsis for Avengers: Endgame: 

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Avengers: Endgame will be released in theaters on April 26, 2019.

“John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is on the run for two reasons… he’s being hunted for a global $14 million dollar open contract on his life, and for breaking a central rule: taking a life on Continental Hotel grounds. The victim was a member of the High Table who ordered the open contract. John should have already been executed, except the Continental’s manager, Winston, has given him a one-hour grace period before he’s “Excommunicado” – membership revoked, banned from all services and cut off from other members. John uses the service industry to stay alive as he fights and kills his way out of New York City.”
