‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ Stunts Featurette Hits The Web

Ahead of the Blu-ray release, Lionsgate Home Entertainment has released a featurette pulling back the curtain on the opening scene of John Wick: Chapter 2.

Ahead of the Blu-ray and DVD release, Lionsgate Home Entertainment has released (via JoBlo) a featurette pulling back the curtain on the opening scene of John Wick: Chapter 2.

In the featurette, the stunt team can be seen preparing on the streets of New York City for when the motorcycle driver slams into the side driven by John Wick (Keanu Reeves). Fortunately, for the stunt driver, he nailed the collision on the first take.

The Baba Yaga himself, Keanu Reeves, can also be seen behind the wheel, training for the warehouse sequence featured early in the film that saw Wick taking back his car from the chop shop and laying waste to everyone but the Russian crime tsar Abram Tarasov (Peter Stormare).

You can watch it below.

The film also stars Common, Ruby Rose, Bridget Moynahan, John Leguizamo, Lance Reddick, Ian McShane, and Lawrence Fishburne. Here’s the official synopsis:

Keanu Reeves returns in the sequel to the 2014 hit as legendary hitman John Wick who is forced to back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers. Lionsgate’s “John Wick: Chapter 2” arriving in theaters on February 10, 2017.

John Wick: Chapter 2 is available on Digital HD now and will release on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD tomorrow, June 13. You can read our review here.
