‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ Debuts New Trailer At NYCC

Don’t mess with Keanu Reeves in a suit. The actor, back for the sequel to the popular 2014 movie John Wick, about a retired assassin who gets back into action seeking revenge after the son of a former employer kills his dog, is ready for action in the first official trailer in John Wick: Chapter 2.

You can watch it below.

The film’s poster, released ahead of New York Comic Con, has John Wick in the midst of several hired guns, all pointing their weapons at his face.

The trailer is action-packed with crazy stunt sequences throughout. Reeves is perfectly cast as Wick. This time around, there is no vengeance of a murdered animal that will be driving the plot, but instead it’s a blood oath that will send the hired gun to take up arms once again.

Keanu Reeves returns in the sequel to the 2014 hit as legendary hitman John Wick who is forced to back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers.

John Wick: Chapter 2 opens in theaters on February 10, 2017.
