“Joker” Actor Cameron Monaghan Teases ‘Big’ Episode Of ‘Gotham’

“Joker” actor Cameron Monaghan teased a “great, big, and awesome” episode of Gotham coming on Thursday.

Gotham‘s final season has three more episodes left and this week’s could be the biggest of the series. The next episode is titled, “Ace Chemicals’ and Batman fans are already well aware of the iconic location. Ace Chemicals is where the Joker is born traditionally in DC comic book lore. Recently leaked pictures revealed a terrifying transformation of Cameron Monaghan’s Joker that may appear in the final season’s seventh episode.

“Joker” actor Cameron Monaghan teased the upcoming episode with stills in a recent Instagram post with the caption, “Tomorrow is a great, big, awesome episode of #Gotham. If you like comic books or wild storytelling in general, I implore you to please join us at 8pm. Here are some blurry shots off the monitor as a little appetizer.”

Gotham‘s final season continues this week with the episode titled “Ace Chemicals” and you can read the official synopsis below.

Gordon races to uncover the criminal element threatening to end talks of Gotham’s reunification with the mainland. A very much alive Jeremiah (guest star Cameron Monaghan) returns and organizes a twisted recreation of the murder of Bruce’s parents with the help of Jervis Tetch aka Mad Hatter (guest star Benedict Samuel).

The series stars Ben McKenzie as Detective James Gordon, Donal Logue as Detective Harvey Bullock, Morena Baccarin as Dr. Leslie Thompkins, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth, Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle, Cory Michael Smith as Edward Nygma/The Riddler, and Chris Chalk as Lucius Fox.

Gotham airs on Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. on FOX.
