Fan Morphs Joaquin Phoenix, Jared Leto & Heath Ledger’s Joker Into One

A new fan-made image combines the looks of Joaquin Phoenix, Jared Leto and Heath Ledger to create the ultimate version of The Joker.

Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker movie hit theaters over the weekend and earned an impressive $96 million at the domestic box office. Joaquin Phoenix is now the fifth actor to play the Joker on the silver screen and joins the company of Jack Nicholson, Jared Leto, Cesar Romero, and Heath Ledger.

There have now been three live-action versions of the Joker in the last eleven years, with each bringing their own unique look to the big screen. Heath Ledger and Joaquin Phoenix’s versions of the Joker both feature a similar look, sporting long green hair and makeup. Meanwhile, Jared Leto’s Joker from Suicide Squad most notably wore face tattoos. A fan recently decided to combine the versions of Joaquin Phoenix, Jared Leto, and Heath Ledger to create the ultimate Joker. You can check out the Joker artwork below.

Director Todd Phillips’ “Joker” centers around the iconic arch nemesis and is an original, standalone fictional story not seen before on the big screen. Phillips’ exploration of Arthur Fleck, who is indelibly portrayed by Joaquin Phoenix, is of a man struggling to find his way in Gotham’s fractured society. A clown-for-hire by day, he aspires to be a stand-up comic at night…but finds the joke always seems to be on him. Caught in a cyclical existence between apathy and cruelty, Arthur makes one bad decision that brings about a chain reaction of escalating events in this gritty character study.

Directed by Todd Phillips from a script he co-wrote with Scott Silver, Joker stars Joaquin Phoenix, Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz, Bill Camp, Frances Conroy, Brett Cullen, Glenn Fleshler, Douglas Hodge, Marc Maron, Josh Pais, and Shea Whigham.
