It’s been nearly two months since Joker has hit theaters, and the film continues to capture the world by storm. Joker became the first R-Rated movie to hit the $1 billion mark at the global box office and with its financial success, it also continues to be in constant discussions for Awards Season, with the film itself and Joaquin Phoenix’s towering performance as Arthur Fleck receiving accolades.
Todd Phillips continues to celebrate the film’s success by sharing a collection of new behind-the-scenes photos from Joker. Director Todd Phillips’ Joker centers around the iconic arch nemesis and is an original, standalone fictional story not seen before on the big screen. Caught in a cyclical existence between apathy and cruelty, Arthur makes one bad decision that brings about a chain reaction of escalating events in this gritty character study.
