‘Joker’ Poster Pays Tribute To Every Live-Action Cinematic Version

In a recent addition to the tributes paid to the upcoming Joker film, someone did a poster for the upcoming film that pays tribute to every live-action cinematic version of the character who has made it onto the big screen.

It would be fair to say that that is has been something of a big week for the Clown Prince of Crime. Earlier we got our first official look at the character with his makeup before a set video of the film was leaked by TMZ. Warner Bros. then released a few additional images of the characters and gave us some hits as to what the setting of the film would be like.

This latest poster, sadly, does not come from any official source but is nonetheless compelling. It shows the Joker in a spotlight with the faces of the other live action of the version of the character floating around him. They appear to be masks, indicating that they were all former faces he wore before revealing his true face as this version of the Joker.

You can see the full image below:

From the look of things, the artist is already considering Joaquin Phoenix’s version of The Joker as the definitive one.

What do you all make of this poster? Do agree with this artist interpretation of the Joker or should we wait for the film before we decide? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

Directed by Todd Phillips, the cast of Joker currently includes Joaquin Phoenix, Marc Maron, Glenn Fleshler, Shea Whigham, Zazie Beetz, Robert De Niro, Frances Conroy, Josh Pais, and Brett Cullen.

Joker is set to be released on October 4th of 2019.
