‘Joker’: Zazie Beetz Says There Will Be No Grillz Or Damaged Tattoos In The Film

Sorry, there definitely won’t be any damaged tattoos or grillz in Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker movie.

While at ACE Comic-Con Joker & Deadpool 2 star Zazie Beetz was asked if there’d be any face tattoos on The Joker in his upcoming solo film and the quick witted star had this to say:

“No. And I haven’t seen any grillz up to this point,”

The damaged tattoo and grillz are one of the most controversial things about The Joker’s look in 2016’s Suicide Squad. It was the most unconventional look for The Joker and this made people judge the book by its cover. Ultimately everyone wound up being correct in their judgment as the film was panned by critics and fans alike. 

Joaquin Phoenix’s version looks more conventional than Jared Leto’s Joker and people are genuinely excited to see his take on the Clown Prince of Crime. Everything we’ve seen from the film so far looks great and it still feels like we haven’t even scratched the surface of the plot.  What do you think about Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker look?
