‘Joker:’ Set Photos Show Zazie Beetz With Joaquin Phoenix

Zazie Beetz may have luck on her side as Domino in the X-Men films, but how lucky can you be when you cross paths with the Clown Prince of Crime? Indeed, as you know by now, Zazie Beetz is trading in her luck and gun play for a bit for Todd Phillips’ Joker film, which is currently filming.

And on the heels of set photos, footage, and the recent test footage that Warner Bros. released yesterday, much of the focus has been around Joaquin Phoenix himself. He is the protagonist, so how could it not? But we’ve received other casting news as well, and now we have some photos- not footage, though- of the Deadpool 2 actress crossing worlds into the DC realm with some photos of Zazie Beetz on set with the Joker film, as you can see in the tweet below:

And okay, yes, it’s merely a photo. Doesn’t exactly give you any plot details or revelations that won’t be speculated by people online soon anyway, but it is at least worth wondering just how much interaction Zazie Beetz’s will have with Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker.

Full plot details on Zazie Beetz’s character haven’t been revealed yet, at least not officially by Todd Phillips, but are you excited to see her in the Joker film? Who do you hope she’s playing?
