New TV Spots For Josh Boone’s ‘The New Mutants’ Spotlight The Film’s Horror Elements

The latest TV spots for Josh Boone’s The New Mutants focus on the horror that the group face when they’re trapped in a facility.

Two TV spots for The New Mutants recently surfaced online, showcasing the horrific delights that Josh Boone has injected into the X-Men universe. The first appeared on YouTube and shows some of the team’s powers before clearly noting that they’re being held against their will. The TV spot for Josh Boone’s The New Mutants also shows off a full look at Henry Zaga’s Sunspot in action. The footage ends with a brief shot of Demon Bear attacking Maisie Williams’ Rahne Sinclair, a.k.a. Wolfsbane. Check it out below.

The second TV spot starts with Alice Braga’s Cecilia Reyes trying to persuade Blu Hunt’s Danielle Moonstar that she’s safe at the facility and this is all to help her. It isn’t long before that illusion is cast aside and we see the group plagued by haunting events. The shot of the walls stretching out to Danielle is still incredibly creepy.
