Julian Edelman Posts Hilarious Image Of Tom Brady In Henry Cavill’s Superman Suit After Big Win

New England Patriots player Julian Edelman posted a hilarious photo of teammate Tom Brady in Henry Cavill’s Superman suit.

Tom Brady and Julian Edelman’s football season kicked off last night with the New England Patriots defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers 33-3. To celebrate, Julian Edelman posted a photo on his official Instagram account featuring Tom Brady soaring in Henry Cavill’s Superman costume.

However, it appears Tom Brady is his own harshest critic as he responded to Julian Edelman’s Superman photo by shifting the focus to the next game. In the comments section of Julian Edelman’s Superman post, Tom Brady wrote, “I will be better next week.”

Henry Cavill’s future as Superman is currently in question amid reports on contentious contract negotiations and Warner Bros. plans to focus their efforts on introducing Supergirl to the DC Extended Universe. While Henry Cavill’s planned Superman cameo in Shazam! was cut after negotiations to reprise his role fell through, the actor has expressed his interest in returning to the role if asked. Henry Cavill most recently portrayed Superman in Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.

Justice League is now available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD. Stay tuned for more updates on the future of the DC Extended Universe.
