‘Jumanji’ Star Kevin Hart Begins Work On First Film Since His Accident

Jumanji star Kevin Hart has started working on his first film since being involved in a devastating accident several months ago.

After being injured in a major car accident in September 2019, Jumanji star Kevin Hart has started work on his first film following his recovery. Kevin Hart suffered major back injuries in the near-fatal accident, while the driver of the car was also injured. The Jumanji star needed weeks of physical therapy throughout his recovery. Thankfully Kevin Hart has since returned to work and was spotted filming his next project in Atlanta.

The photos of Kevin Hart working on his first film since the accident were published by JustJared, which showed the Jumanji star dressed ready for filming in Atlanta, Georgia yesterday. The outlet didn’t state what film Kevin Hart was working on, but it’s most likely My Own Worst Enemy, directed by Tim Story. Kevin Hart previously worked with Story on Ride Along. Kevin Hart recently reprised his role as Franklin “Mouse” Finbar in the third Jumanji film.

In Jumanji: The Next Level, the gang is back but the game has changed. As they return to Jumanji to rescue one of their own, they discover that nothing is as they expect. The players will have to brave parts unknown and unexplored, from the arid deserts to the snowy mountains, in order to escape the world’s most dangerous game.

Directed by Jake Kasdan from a script he co-wrote with Jake Kasdan & Jeff Pinkner & Scott Rosenberg, Jumanji: The Next Level stars Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas, Awkwafina, Ser’Darius Blain, Madison Iseman, Morgan Turner, Alex Wolff, with Danny Glover and Danny DeVito.

Jumanji: The Next Level will be released in theaters on December 13, 2019.
