Junkie XL’s ‘Justice League’ Score Confirmed For The Zack Snyder Cut

Junkie XL was replaced as the film's composer by Danny Elfman.

Zack Snyder has confirmed Junkie XL’s score will be used in his version of Justice League coming to HBO Max next year.

Hans Zimmer scored Zack Snyder’s first two DC films before taking a brief retirement from superhero movies. For Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Junkie XL was brought on to score a new Batman theme since Zimmer already worked on The Dark Knight Trilogy. When Zack Snyder was working on Justice League, Junkie XL was bought back as the sole composer.

When Joss Whedon took over Justice League, superhero score veteran Danny Elfman replaced Junkie XL and brought back his iconic Batman theme along John Williams’ Superman theme. Before Zack Snyder’s Justice League was announced, Junkie XL revealed that his score was complete. Now that the Snyder Cut is officially on the way, Zack Snyder revealed on Vero that the Junkie XL score will be featured in it.

Junkie XL Confirms He Will Score ‘Godzilla Vs. Kong’

Here is the synopsis for the Snyder Cut:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat.
