Mad Max: Fury Road composer Junkie XL has officially announced that he is set to provide the score for 20th Century Fox's Deadpool movie.
Saying that Grammy-nominated Tom Holkenborg, also known as Junkie XL, has been hard at work recently might be a bit of an understatement. This year alone, in addition to providing the beyond awesome hard hitting soundtrack to this year’s Mad Max: Fury Road, Junkie XL also composed the scores for Black Mass, Kill Your Friends, Run All Night and the upcoming Point Break remake.
Fans are eagerly awaiting to hear what Junkie XL brought to the table for Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, which sees him teaming up with Man of Steel composer Hans Zimmer. On Saturday evening, Junkie XL took to his official Twitter page to reveal that Batman v Superman is not the only superhero film that he will be providing the score for next year. As revealed in the tweet, Holkenborg is also working on 20th Century Fox’s long-awaited Deadpool movie starring Ryan Reynolds.
