Steppenwolf Has A Question In New ‘Justice League’ Chinese Trailer

A new Justice League trailer has been released for the Chinese market and it not only features some exciting new footage, but Steppenwolf speaking as well.

There are only 21 days left until Justice League opens. This event will mark the first time six of DC’s core heroes unite for the first time in a big screen live-action adventure. Marketing is now in high gear. Tickets are on sale. Intrigue about the film is mounting from its surprising running time to the review embargo. And now, we have a new trailer for the Chinese market. Here, we finally see Justice League villain and Darkseid’s uncle Steppenwolf speak. There is also some great new footage. You can watch it below.

I like that we get more of a sense of Steppenwolf’s history and plan. Ciarán Hinds’ voice is just as  threatening as one would expect someone from Apokolips to have. And Batman interrogating a parademon before it explodes is taken right from the pages of the New 52.  Still no Superman.  I’m sure we will get even more as we get closer to the opening date, so stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for all updates on the film.

Directed by Zack Snyder, the film stars Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash, Ray Fisher as Victor Stone/Cyborg, Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Amber Heard as Mera, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner James Gordon, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta and Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko.

“Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.”

Justice League hits theaters November 17, 2017.
