The first Justice League Dark trailer has hit the web. Hit the jump to check it out.
The Justice League Dark trailer also reveals that the movie will be rated R for “some disturbing violence,” similar to the DCAU’s last instalment, Batman: The Killing Joke. Hopefully this film will not have the R-rating just for the sake of having it, which was one criticism with The Killing Joke.
IGN was also able announce some new cast members for the film. Jeremy Davies will play Ritchie; Enrico Colantoni will be Felix Faust; Alfred Molina voices Destiny; and Roger R. Cross will perform as both Swamp Thing and John Stewart/Green Lantern. They will join Jason O’Mara as Batman, Matt Ryan as Constantine, Camilla Luddington as Zatanna, Nicholas Turturro as Deadman, Ray Chase as Etrigan, Jerry O’Connell as Superman and Rosario Dawson as Wonder Woman.
Justice League Dark is directed by Jay Oliva. The script was written by Ernie Altbacker, who co-wrote the story with J.M. DeMatteis, while Sam Register will executive produce. The film will be available via digital download, DVD and Blu-Ray in early 2017.
