‘Justice League’: Ezra Miller Talks Batman & Wonder Woman

It has been over a year since The Flash first appeared in Bruce Wayne’s dream in Zack Snyder‘s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Now with Justice League on the way and the Scarlet Speedster finally teaming up with the other DC superheroes, Ezra Miller dished out some details about the dynamics between the group. In speaking to EW, Miller said:

“In Diana and Bruce, you have two very different veteran mentalities. Wonder Woman has this powerful compassion. Bruce is more irritable, less tolerant.”

Of course the relationship between Diana and Bruce has already been established in the two previous DCEU films. Wonder Woman joins the battle in Batman v Superman, and Bruce sends her a gift in Wonder Woman. This makes Flash the new guy in the superteam, and Miller goes on to note that the character is well aware of this:

“Barry’s in total awe of them. He knows this is the big leagues.”

It sounds like we can expect The Flash to receive a crash-course when it comes to fighting alongside already well-established superheroes. We are sure to learn more about The Flash and his place in Justice League this weekend at San Diego Comic-Con, which runs from Thursday, July 20 through Sunday, July 23. Justice League will be highlighted at the Warner Bros./DC panel, which will take place on Saturday, July 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m PT in Hall H.

In addition to Ezra Miller as The Flash, Justice League also stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Amber Heard as Mera, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, with Julian Lewis Jones and Michael McElhatton, among many others. Here is the official synopsis:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League will be released on November 17, 2017.
