‘Justice League’: Joe Manganiello Shares New Look At Deathstroke

With Justice League heading into its second weekend in theaters, Joe Manganiello has shared a brand new image of his character from the movie, Deathstroke.

With Justice League heading into its second weekend in theaters, Joe Manganiello has shared a brand new image of his character from the movie, Deathstroke, giving us our  best look yet at the big screen version of the iconic mercenary.

As fans who’ve seen Justice League already know, Deathstroke makes his DC Extended Universe debut in the film’s second post-credits scene in which he meets with Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor. In the scene, Luthor informs Deathstroke that Superman and his “odd little friends” are forming a “league” before he suggests they have one of their own in order to level the playing field. You can check out the image below.

Warner Bros. and DC have yet to reveal when fans can expect to next see Deathstroke, but we know that The Raid helmer Gareth Evans is developing a standalone feature focusing on the character, with Manganiello attached to star.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Amy Adams, Jeremy Irons, J.K. Simmons, Connie Nielsen, Joe Morton, Diane Lane and Ciarán Hinds. Here’s the synopsis:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League is now playing in theaters.
