Welsh Actor Julian Lewis Jones Joins ‘Justice League’

Justice League has been filming in London for about two months now, but other than the recent set visit reports (you can read ours here) which shed some light on the plot of the movie, there are still plenty of characters and roles which haven’t been revealed yet. While speaking with Wales Online, Welsh actor Julian Lewis Jones revealed his involvement in the project, though he wouldn’t give away any details about his role:

“I’m not allowed to say yet what part I play but let’s just say I’ve a role in what will likely be the most expensive film ever made. It was filmed at Warner Brother’s studio at Leavesden as well as at various locations around the UK and Iceland. Directed by Zack Snyder it stars Ben Affleck, Jeremy Irons and host of A-list actors. I’m just happy to have been involved and I’m looking forward to the movie’s release which will be next year.

Judging by his comments, I don’t believe that he’s playing Steppenwolf, since they were still casting the character a couple of weeks ago, so my best guess would be that he’s playing Zeus or the ancient Atlantean King (the role that Game of Thrones star Kristofer Hivju reportedly turned down) in the History Lesson scene. What do you guys think?

Starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Amber Heard, Jeremy Irons, J.K. Simmons and Willem Dafoe, Zack Snyder’s Justice League opens in theaters on November 17, 2017.
