Long before the DC Extended Universe was launched with Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel, Warner Bros. developed a Justice League film that Mad Max: Fury Road director George Miller was set to helm. While the project was ultimately canceled, the aforementioned excerpt offers fans a look at a scene in which the DC superhero team begins to cooperate and come together as a true team.

Of course, a combination of unfortunate circumstances prevented George Miller’s vision from coming to life and DC’s signature superhero team would not appear in a live-action feature film until Zack Snyder’s Justice League in 2016.
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
Justice League is now available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD.
