‘Justice League’: BTS Image Confirms Post-Credits Scene Was A Reshoot

The Justice League Legion of Doom post-credits scene was a reshoot from the Avengers director.

A behind-the-scenes image from Justice League confirms that part of the post-credits scene was a reshoot.

Zack Snyder has been upfront in saying that the Justice League movie we saw in theaters was about a quarter of the filmmaker’s intended vision. Avengers director Joss Whedon notably stepped and made changes to the film with various reshoots, but we are now getting the Snyder Cut next year. However, one of the more exciting aspects of Justice League we saw in theaters was its post credits scene with Deathstroke and Lex Luthor, which teased the Legion of Doom.

It’s unclear if a Legion of Doom setup will also appear in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, but Deathstroke actor Joe Manganiello has revealed that there is another version of the end credits scene out there. For further evidence of this, a behind-the-scenes image on Instagram has surfaced from a YouTube video uploaded by cinematographer Simon Firsht, who took over for Fabian Wagner on reshoots due to scheduling. In the image and video, you can see Joss Whedon’s name on the film slate:

You can see the reshoot footage at 2:34 in the video below:

Here is the official synopsis for Justice League:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, the film stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.

Justice League is now available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding Darkseid and the Zack Snyder Cut, and make sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more content.
