‘Justice League’ VR Experience Gameplay Unveiled

Footage of an early version of the Justice League VR game has made its way online, showing playable missions for Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, the Flash, and Cyborg, with a tease for a Superman-specific mission to be added in a later version.

In the gameplay shown, each member of the first iteration of the Justice League is given a mission of their own – Batman uses the Batmobile to chase after armored vehicles with stolen goods, Aquaman has to stop a sea monster from its rampage, the Flash has to disarm a bomb attached to a moving subway, Wonder Woman has to face off against Parademons on Themyscira, and Cyborg has to destroy an army of airborne drones that are attacking a science facility.

Much like with the marketing for the movie, the game reminds audiences that Superman will be in Justice League, but leaves no clues as to how he’ll appear in the actual film. Presumably, Superman’s VR mission is something that will be saved for an update close to the release of the movie itself.

Justice League unites on November 17, 2017. The superhero epic features a cast that includes Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne (Batman), Henry Cavill as Kal-El/Clark Kent (Superman), Gal Gadot as Diana Prince (Wonder Woman), Jason Mamoa as Orin/Arthur Curry (Aquaman), Ezra Miller as Barry Allen (The Flash), Ray Fisher as Victor Stone (Cyborg), Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Robin Wright as General Antiope, J. K. Simmons as Commissioner James ‘Jim’ Gordon, Joe Morton as Dr. Silas Stone, Amber Heard as Mera, Billy Crudup as Dr. Henry Allen, and Kiersey Clemons as Iris West. Julian Lewis Jones and Michael McElhatton are also in the movie in unspecified roles.
