A few weeks ago a rumor was launched on Reddit with different titles for Justice League that didn’t have “Part 1” in it. Which lead DC Films Co Runner, Geoff Johns to debunked said rumors. In doing so Johns also announced that the title for the film would simply be “Justice League.” This led a bunch of people, including myself, to doubt that Justice League would be a two parter.
Last week a bunch of Journalists got to visit the set of the epic DC Comics superhero team up and Empire Magazine were lucky enough to sit down with Zack and Debbie Snyder. Speaking on whether Justice League would be a standalone. Deborah Snyder had this to say:
“We were only ever planning, and we are only doing, Justice League.”
Although, Deborah Snyder seems very confident that this will standalone, Zack had this to say:
“We still have a release date, Justice League a complete movie. It doesn’t end like, ‘Well, that’s the DC Universe!'”
Here’s the official synopsis:
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Directed by Zack Snyder, this marks the big screen debut of the Justice League, featuring an all-star lineup: Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher. The film hits theater November 17th, 2017
