‘Justice League’: New Wonder Woman Origins Promo Released

Wonder Woman is the "beating heart" of the Justice League. Find out why in a new official Wonder Woman origins promotional video!

Of all the heroes featured in the upcoming release of Justice League, one of the biggest fan favorites definitely has to be Wonder Woman. The princess of Themyscira made her feature film debut earlier this year, and it was met with great responses from fans and critics alike.

Princess Diana will be suiting up again this fall in Justice League, alongside fellow heroes such as Batman, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg. But just in case you didn’t see Wonder Woman, or in case you wanted a refresher course on the lasso-wielding superheroine’s origins, the official Justice League twitter has got you covered.

The Justice League Twitter account released a minute long promo earlier today. The promo tells the origin story of Wonder Woman, and explains why she is the “beating heart” of the titular team. Check out the video below.

Here’s the official synopsis for the Justice League movie:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s (Henry Cavill) selfless act, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes — Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash — it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, and Ezra Miller. Joining them are Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Jeremy Irons, J.K. Simmons, and Amber Heard. The film opens in theaters worldwide on November 17.
