‘Justice League’: Zack Snyder & Jon Berg Deny Runtime Rumor

On Wednesday, rumors started to spread that the runtime for the much-anticipated Justice League movie would be around 170 minutes. This was due to IMDb listing the speculated runtime on the film’s official page.

Obviously, the film is still *eight* months away – so the likelihood of the picture already locking at this point in time seemed pretty asinine. Luckily, DC Extended Universe producer Jon Berg took to Twitter to express his “disappointment” to Zack Snyder that the film would only run at 2 hours and 50 minutes:

Wow Jon, that seems pretty peculiar. Well, Snyder promptly responded to Berg’s confusion:

So as it turns out, Justice League is still being edited together. As for whether or not fans should expect a nearly 3 hour Justice League movie, it looks like they have to wait until this November to find out.

Either way, I hope that Warner Bros. and DC Films don’t pull yet another stunt similar to the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice – Ultimate Edition and the Suicide Squad: Extended Cut. It would be refreshing to see that the theatrical edition of the movie is in fact, *the* movie. The Ultimate Edition of Batman v Superman was an improvement over the theatrical cut so hopefully Justice League will be a cohesive film that wouldn’t need the deleted scenes to fill in potential plotholes.

Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat.
