Zack Snyder's son, Jett, took to social media platform Vero to share his thoughts on 'Justice League' and Warner Bros. interference with the film.
In a post on Vero, the same social media platform frequently used by his father, Jett wrote:
“On a more serious note I did enjoy the movie, although it is clearly not what it could have been due to the meddling of Warner Brothers and the forced comedy. The run time was my biggest gripe with the movie, with events that should take a long time over in a flash;$ but still definitely a fun movie to watch, and would recommend it.”
His comments seem to echo the sentiments of many fans, over 100,000 of whom have signed a petition for Zack Snyder’s cut of the film to be released. While the film has generally been received as fun and enjoyable, its comedic elements are sometimes to the detriment of the drama. The extent of deleted scenes, presumably cut to keep the film in the 2 hour run time limit set by Warner Bros.’ CEO, may also be cause for issues some fans and critics had. As Jett’s post points out, much of the film ends up feeling rushed where it would have benefited from a little more time being spent on certain sequences (mainly the backstories of the League members who had not been properly introduced on screen yet).
