Karen Gillan Is Headed Back To The Set Of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’

Karen Gillan has revealed she is headed back to the set to shoot more scenes in the upcoming superhero epic Avengers: Infinity War.

Karen Gillan, the actress who plays Thanos’ daughter Nebula first introduced in Guardians of the Galaxy has revealed she is headed back to the set of Avengers: Infinity War giving us even more of the Luphomoid assassin in the upcoming film.

Gillan revealed her return to set when tweeted this morning that she would be taking a break from editing Tupperware — her directorial debut — to get back to the set of the Marvel production.

According to Atlanta Filming, the cast is headed to Scotland which would confirm the report from the Telegraph that Infinity War would be shooting on location in Edinburgh later this month.

The events of Captain America: Civil War left the Avengers split in half, however, Infinity War will be the culmination of the cinematic universe Marvel has established over the last 9 years as it will feature the Avengers assemble once again to take on Thanos, who was first teased back in 2012 in The Avengers. President of Marvel Studios has promised that no matter how many characters are featured in Infinity War, no matter how large the spectacle is, the film will remain grounded as it focuses on a human story.

Gillan will next be seen this spring when Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits theaters on May 5, 2017. Nebula is expected to join the Guardians at some point during the making it possible for the character to fight alongside the Avengers in Infinity War.

Avengers: Infinity War is slated to hit theaters May 4, 2018.
