Keanu Reeves’ To Star In ‘BRZRKR’ Live-Action Netflix Movie

Keanu's going berserk for Netflix.

Keanu Reeves will star in and produce a live-action movie based on the BRZRKR comic series for Netflix and BOOM! Studios.

John Wick and The Matrix star Keanu Reeves clearly isn’t interested in winding his career down because it was recently announced that the comic series he penned with the critically acclaimed writer Matt Kindt, BRZRKR, will be turned into a live-action movie on Netflix. The BOOM! Studios comic sees an 80,000 years old immortal known only as ‘B’ trying to discover the mystery behind his undying nature while working as an agent for the U.S. government in the present day. The character created by Keanu Reeves is tasked with the most violent and bloody missions that no one else can carry out because of his unique circumstances.

But not only will Keanu Reeves produce and star in the BRZRKR film for Netflix, but he’ll also voice the character in an animated spin-off series for the streaming service. The planned series is said to expand the world created by the comic and will explore different elements of the story, according to the press release. The first issue of BRZRKR was highly popular, with art from Ron Campey and colors by Bill Crabtree, letters from Clem Robbins and character designs by Rafael Grampá. It’s not clear when work will start on the Netflix movie, since Keanu Reeves will be busy working on John Wick 4 later this year – but it’ll be interesting to see where it goes.

What do you make of the BRZRKR news? Are you excited to see what Keanu Reeves and Netflix have in store for the BRZRKR film and the animated series? Have you read the BOOM! Studios comic? Sound-off in the comments below!
