Kevin Conroy To Read ‘Batman: The Adventures Continue’ Comic Live

Kevin Conroy will reprise his role as the Dark Knight for a live reading of Batman: The Adventures Continue.

In 1992, Batman: The Animated Series debuted and introduced viewers to Kevin Conroy’s incarnation of the Caped Crusader. To date, many fans consider Kevin Conroy’s voice performance to be the definitive portrayal of the Dark Knight and the actor has reprised the role in multiple animated films and video games featuring the DC hero.

Now, Kevin Conroy will once again voice the Caped Crusader for a live reading of Batman: The Adventures Continue #1, a new comic book miniseries that continues the story of the aforementioned animated series. Fans can download an official digital copy of The Adventures Continue #1 and then tune in to DC’s Instagram to hear Kevin Conroy’s dramatic reading of the comic on Thursday, April 9, at 10:00 a.m. PT.

Here is the official synopsis for Batman: The Adventures Continue #1:

From the visionary producers of Batman: The Animated Series comes all-new stories in this seminal animated world. In this opening chapter, S.T.A.R. Labs in Gotham City is attacked by a giant robot that steals an entire room from the laboratory. Who’s controlling the robot? How will Batman stop the mechanized menace? And what does it all have to do with Lex Luthor’s sudden appearance in Gotham?

Batman: The Adventures Continue Chapter One was written by Alan Burnett and Paul Dini with art by Ty Templeton and color by Monica Kubina, featuring a cover by Dave Johnson. Fans will be able to purchase Batman: The Adventures Continue Chapter Two on digital platforms on Wednesday, April 15.
