Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has confirmed that Adam Warlock won’t be making an appearance in Avengers: Infinity War.
During an interview with Slashfilm, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed that Adam Warlock won’t be making an appearance in Avengers: Infinity War.
“Adam is not in Infinity War. That is not a tag for Infinity War.”
Despite the character’s importance in the comic series, it makes sense to save him for Vol. 3 when we can get to know him a bit better. The next two Avengers films will be stuffed enough without having to introduce Adam Warlock as well, so we completely agree with this decision. Kevin Feige continued:
“In that case in particular, James has ideas. And had played with incarnations of Adam Warlock in earlier drafts of other Guardians films. So he’s always been top of mind for the Guardians franchise. And if he appears anywhere in the future, it’ll be with Guardians.”
What will be Adam Warlock’s role in a presumably post-Thanos world? We’re not sure, but you can let us know what you think about Kevin Feige’s comments below!
