Marvel is currently developing projects for the upcoming Disney+ streaming service, but some fans are concerned that the shows will be loosely connected to the Marvel Cinematic Universe like the Netflix series’, which only vaguely referenced characters or events in the MCU films. Fortunately, Kevin Feige confirmed that these Disney+ shows will be tied to the largely MCU story as they will be Marvel Studios productions rather than Marvel Television projects:
“These will be Marvel Studios productions. They will be entirely interwoven with both the current MCU, the past MCU, and the future of the MCU.”
