Marvel Studios’ decade-long Infinity Saga concluded with the release of Avengers: Endgame and the fourth phase of the MCU is set to officially begin after Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters next month. While Marvel Studios have yet to officially announce their future plans, fans have many ideas regarding which characters should be introduced in Phase 4 of the MCU and who should portray them.
With the internet currently enamored with Keanu Reeves, fans have been clamoring to see the John Wick star join the MCU and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed they’ve had conversations with him about potentially playing a character in a future project. However, Kevin Feige noted they don’t know if Keanu Reeves will ever join the MCU because they want to figure out the right way to include him:
“We talk to him for almost every film we make. We talk to Keanu Reeves about. I don’t know when, if, or ever he’ll join the MCU, but we very much want to figure out the right way to do it.”
Kevin Feige then compared the situation with Keanu Reeves to the casting of Jake Gyllenhaal in Spider-Man: Far From Home, explaining they spoke with the latter actor multiple times before the role of Mysterio became a perfect fit.
