Kevin Feige Denies Marvel Studios Has Begun Casting For Wolverine

The mutant isn't coming to the MCU... Yet.

Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige denied that the company has already started searching for the next person to play Wolverine.

It seems Kevin Feige isn’t planning to introduce Wolverine to the Marvel Cinematic Universe any time soon, as he shot down the rumor that Marvel Studios has started casting for the role already. Feige has recently been doing plenty of interviews ahead of  since the series will usher in a bizarre, magical new era for the rest of the MCU. But when asked about the arrival of Wolverine, Feige had a very simple answer.

When asked by Collider about the rumors, Kevin Feige definitely shot them down with a simple “no.” Even if the Wolverine rumors were true, it wouldn’t be surprising for Feige to deny them, since part of the fun of the MCU is the surprise of new characters appearing. When asked about the X-Men plans in another interview, the Marvel head explained that discussions are ongoing, but the studio isn’t ready to announce anything yet.
