Kevin Smith Clarifies Rumor Of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil In Third ‘Spider-Man’ Film

Kevin Smith clarified his previous comments about Charlie Cox’s Daredevil appearing in Marvel Studios and Sony’s third Spider-Man film.

Marvel Television and Netflix’s partnership started with the debut of Daredevil, which starred Charlie Cox as The Man Without Fear. However, after Netflix canceled its line-up of Marvel shows, the future of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil in the Marvel Cinematic Universe remained uncertain, at best.

Therefore, fans of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil were likely thrilled when filmmaker Kevin Smith revealed that he read the character will appear in the third MCU Spider-Man film.  However, Kevin Smith recently took to his official Twitter account to clarify that he merely read about Charlie Cox appearing as Daredevil in the next Spider-Man film online and this is only a rumor as opposed to inside information.

Marvel Studios and Sony’s third Spider-Man film is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on July 21st of 2021. In the meantime, fans can re-watch Spider-Man: Far From Home on all home media formats.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is now available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-Ray, and DVD.
