First Photo Of Colin Firth On The Set Of ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’

Colin Firth’s Harry Hart died at the hands of Samuel L. Jackson’s Richmond Valentine in Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman: The Secret Service, but the fan favorite character will somehow be back for Kingsman: The Golden Circle. Production is well underway with the highly anticipated sequel and thanks to an Instagram post by star Pedro Pascal, we now have our first official look at Firth on the set of the movie. Here’s the post:

Firth was one of the highlights of the first movie, so it’s not surprising that he’s coming back for the follow-up, but it’s going to be interesting to see how they’re going to explain that his character is still alive. The caption seems to indicate that we’ll be seeing Harry and not a twin brother or someone else, so they definitely have some explaining to do.

In Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Egerton’s Eggsy and Strong’s Merlin will be teaming up with the members of The Statesman (the American counterpart of the Kingsman agency led by Berry’s Ginger and a mysterious character named Jack) to stop Poppy, who will be played by Academy Award winner Julianne Moore.

Starring Taron Egerton, Colin Firth, Julianne Moore, Mark Strong, Halle Berry, Pedro Pascal, Edward Holcroft, Sir Elton John, Channing Tatum, Vinnie Jones and Jeff Bridges, Kingsman: The Golden Circle opens in theaters on June 16, 2017.
