Set to be one of 2020’s biggest hits, Wonder Woman 1984 sees Gal Gadot’s Diane Prince swinging back into action in a brand new decade. With Wonder Woman 1984 set to hit cinemas in a few months, we still don’t know an awful lot about the plot or how Kristen Wiig’s Cheetah will play into the film. While a Wonder Woman 1984 trailer did debut in December, we never got see Kristen Wiig’s Cheetah in her full-feline costume.
Now, new merchandise for Wonder Woman 1984 may have revealed Kristen Wiig’s Cheetah. It’s unclear as to what the Wonder Woman 1984 merchandise is, as well as where this image of Kristen Wiig’s Cheetah emerged from. The image in question gives us a solid look at what is supposedly Kristen Wiig’s Cheetah, though of course, no one can confirm its validity at the moment. You can check out the possible first look at Kristen Wiig’s Cheetah from Wonder Woman 1984 below.
This rendition of Cheetah isn’t exactly comic-accurate, though it does do a good job of making Kristen Wiig more pronounced. There have been various iterations of Cheetah in the comic-books, with many having the character’s hair slicked back. Though in those comics, Cheetah’s hair is far shorter. In this case, it looks as if all of Kristen Wiig’s hair has been slicked back, which could indicate that the Wonder Woman 1984 team is going for a more natural look that would allow Kristen Wiig to shine. Of course, the validity of this image is still in question, but if this is the look of Kristen Wiig’s Cheetah, then Wonder Woman fans are certainly in for a treat this summer.
What are your thoughts on Kristen Wiig’s supposed first look as Cheetah? Are you excited to see Gal Gadot return as Diana Prince in Wonder Woman 1984?
Full details on the Wonder Woman 1984 plot are being kept under wraps, but the film is said to follow Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince as she comes into conflict with the Soviet Union in the 1980s and encounters a formidable new adversary named Cheetah.
