‘The Eternals’ Star Kumail Nanjiani Reveals Incredible Body Transformation For Marvel Movie

Kumail Nanjiani has revealed his impressive physique for the upcoming Marvel Studios movie The Eternals.

After getting in shape for his role in the Marvel Studios epic The Eternals, Kumail Nanjiani recently revealed his impressive transformation on his official Instagram page. In Marvel Studios’ The Eternals, Kumail Nanjiani plays Kingo, a cosmic-powered being whose comic book counterpart is a legendary swordsman. The Eternals star Kumail Nanjiani has been heavily training for the role and has made an impressive transformation.

The Eternals star revealed his transformed physique on Instagram, explaining that when he found out he’d got the Marvel role he wanted to get in good shape. Kumail Nanjiani also mentioned that it would’ve been impossible to do without Marvel Studios paying for nutritionists and trainers to help him achieve his new physique as well as dedicating the time to do so. Plot details for The Eternals are being kept under lock and key. However, the story reportedly features a love story between Sersi and the Black Knight. Created by Jack Kirby in 1976, the Eternals are a fictional evolutionary offshoot of humanity created by the Celestials over a million years ago. The beings who possess superpowers and longer lifespans were the result of genetic experiments that led to the creation of fellow divergent races such as the Deviants (hideous monsters of human origin who are ancestors to the Atlanteans), and Latents (the predecessors to the Mutants and Mutates that make up many of Marvel’s superheroes).

The cast of The Eternals includes Gemma Chan as Sersi, Kit Harington as the Black Knight, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Angelina Jolie as Thena, and Barry Keoghan as Druig. Reportedly, there are some key roles that have yet to be revealed to the public, leaving room for Dan Stevens to possibly have a part. Marvel Studios has tapped Chloe Zhao to direct the project from a script written by Matthew and Ryan Firpo.
