Early ‘Star Wars’ Concept Art Reveals A Very Different Look For Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren

Newly-surfaced concept for Star Wars: The Force Awakens has revealed an unused design for Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren.

While fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of The Rise of Skywalker, Star Wars concept artist Christian Alzmann has shared an early design for Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren. Since Kylo Ren was obsessed with following in his Darth Vader’s footsteps by becoming a Sith lord, his helmet and appearance are obviously modelled after his grandfather. But this early design of Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren shows the character with a bounty hunter-inspired look.

The design created by Christian Alzmann depicts Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren with a much more prominent neck guard on his helmet while the mask part looks slightly similar to the bounty hunter disguise that Leia wore in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. The lined markings on Kylo Ren’s helmet also feel similar to the numerous bounty hunter designs that exist in the Star Wars universe. You can see the alternate design for Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren from Star Wars: The Force Awakens below.

What do you think of the Kylo Ren concept art? Do you think Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren should add more red into his Sith outfits? Sound-off in the comments section!
