LeBron James has unveiled his Tune Squad jersey for Space Jam: A New Legacy!
The official Twitter account for the LeBron James Family Foundation has shared a video that shows the Los Angeles Lakers star suited up as a member of the Tune Squad. The video offers fans their first look at the design of the new Tune Squad jerseys, which feature a blue and orange color scheme along with the iconic Looney Tunes background logo.
The Space Jam: A New Legacy Tune Squad jersey seen in the video features No. 6, the same number that LeBron James wore during his time at the Miami Heat and the USA National Team. Michael Jordan wore No. 23 for the original Space Jam movie. You can check out the video below.

Released in 1996, the original film told the story of the Looney Tunes’ efforts to win a basketball competition after the beloved cartoon characters challenge alien invaders to a game in order to secure their freedom. However, the aliens steal the talent of professional basketball players and transform into the dreaded Monstars, prompting the Looney Tunes to recruit Michael Jordan onto their team. LeBron James is expected to play a similar role in the Space Jam sequel.
Directed by Malcolm D. Lee from a script written by Ryan Coogler and Sev Ohanian, Space Jam: A New Legacy stars LeBron James, Sonequa Martin-Green as Savannah James, Ceyair J. Wright as LeBron “Bronny” James Jr, and Don Cheadle. Ryan Coogler is also on board as a producer alongside LeBron James under his SpringHill Entertainment label, Duncan Henderson, and SpringHill’s Maverick Carter. Justin Lin, Sev Ohanian and Jamal Henderson are executive producing.
