The Legends of Tomorrow episode was revealed to be in production and this title page for the episode’s script reveals the obvious direct reference to Zack Snyder’s 2016 DC Extended Universe film, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. You can see the Legends of Tomorrow title page down below:
Yes, you’ve read that right. Episode 507 of Legends of Tomorrow is titled, “Romeo v Juliet: Dawn of Justness”.
Although DC Comics’ current slate of films and television series are not all held together in the same continuity, it’s apparent that there is some influence and reverence for the canon, lore and tone of the different interpretations of the beloved characters amongst both mediums. Obviously, Legends of Tomorrow and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice are of two completely different tones, but it’s always fun to see some fan service in little things like title parodies.
