Amid all of the chaos, Heat Wave was still experiencing hallucinations of Captain Cold. Legends of Tomorrow star Dominic Purcell, who portrays Mick Rory, aka Heat Wave, recently admitted that deep down, he doesn’t think his character is a stand-up guy.
“I don’t think Mick is a good guy.”
And perhaps this analysis will come to the forefront with the return of Wentworth Miller’s Captain Cold. Cold will be joining the Legion of Doom down the line and although the character died before the end of the last season, this version will be an earlier timeline version of Cold and so he will still be up for causing some trouble.
Will Mick eventually join him? He can’t be too pleased with Cold eventually joining the Legion while Mick is still questioning why he’s really there. The Legends of Tomorrow star answered the question about Heat Wave’s association with Captain Cold, but his answer is vague at best and doesn’t go long in the way of telling us anything we don’t already know.
“And there’s a lot of history there. Mick loves Cold.”
What do you all think? Will Mick remain with the Legends? Will he be swayed by Captain Cold to rejoin forces? Let us know in the comments below!
The tenth episode of season two of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, titled “The Legion of Doom,” will air on Tuesday, January 31 at 9/8c on The CW.
