'Legends of Tomorrow' star Matt Letscher talks about Reverse-Flash's 'The Flash' connections and which version of Eobard Thawne he really is.
Thawne, who spent most of his time in “Flashpoint” taunting Barry, could be from any point in the timeline. He’s a speedster and can run through time just as the Legends can fly through it on the Waverider. But is this version of Thawne the one who’s already killed Barry Allen’s mother or an earlier version of him?
We can take the idea of him being from another Earth off the table. Actor Matt Letscher discussed Reverse-Flash in regards to Legends of Tomorrow and how this links with his character’s connection to The Flash.
“We are going to find out shortly on Legends of Tomorrow just how this Eobard links into the Eobard from The Flash. Where he’s coming from, and more importantly, where he’s going to after this.”
In Legends of Tomorrow’s mid-season finale, “The Chicago Way”, Martin Stein briefly looks at Thawne and asks if they know each other. “Let’s just say, it’s complicated,” replies Thawne. Have they already met?
What are your thoughts about this? Do you think they’ll even tie in the spear of destiny with The Flash and any of the other shows? Is this what future Barry was talking about when he mentioned there’d be a war? Let me know in the comments below!
