‘Legends Of Tomorrow’ Promo Teases Universe Post ‘Crisis On Infinite Earths’

The latest promo for the fifth season of Legends of Tomorrow teases what to expect from the universe after Crisis On Infinite Earths.

The Legends of Tomorrow will explore the universe in the wake of Crisis On Infinite Earths when the fifth season premieres. The new promo teases what fans can expect from the team’s next set of adventures across time and space. While it doesn’t explicitly reveal the details of the plot, we see a number of events unfolding that Sara and the rest of the team will have to clean up throughout Legends of Tomorrow‘s fifth season. But after the universe was restarted at the end of Crisis On Infinite Earths, it’s likely that there’ll be even more unknown threats for the team to face.

The footage starts by showing the chairs with each Arrowverse hero’s symbol on them that were introduced at the end of Crisis On Infinite Earths, explaining that the universe now has its noblest heroes. It then jumps to Nick Zano’s Nate Haywood joking that he had to “take a raincheck” on Crisis On Infinite Earths. The promo also shows the team exploring new time periods, including what looks like the French Renaissance. The synopsis of the fifth season’s premiere explained that they’ll also be battling Rasputin. LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION — Sara (Caity Lotz), Ray (Brandon Routh) and Mick (Dominic Purcell) are shocked to discover that the Legends have become famous. It seems that everyone except Sara is loving the spotlight, so much so that they invite a documentary crew on board the Waverider to film them as they investigate a strange new blip in the Timeline. The Legends discover that their new problem is none other than Rasputin, who happens to be straight out of hell, and it might be tougher than they thought. Meanwhile, Constantine (Matt Ryan) thinks he knows the reason behind these new blips and informs the team that it won’t be easy to defeat. Nick Zano, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Tala Ashe, Jes Macallan and Olivia Swann also star. Kevin Mock directed the episode written by Grainne Godfree & James Eagan.
