Lindsay Lohan feels that continually bringing up her past distracts from her potential future starring in Joss Whedon's 'Batgirl'.
For Lindsay Lohan, the issue becomes a little more complex. While campaigning to her 9.3 million Twitter followers seems like a good step in winning over the public’s vote, being Lindsay Lohan is a double edged sword. For many, Lindsay Lohan is still synonymous with an out of control party lifestyle. A lifestyle that, for Lohan, ended with jail time. While Lohan is well past that part of her life, the public still can’t help but to bring it up.
Appearing on The Wendy Williams Show, Lohan stated that she feels continually bringing up her past distracts from “maybe meeting with people to do Batgirl, or maybe doing a Mean Girls 2.” You can watch the clip below:
Lindsay Lohan has a point. She, along with many of us, grew up in the era of a burgeoning internet. As such, her public meltdowns, party lifestyle, and poor decisions were all in the public eye. In a world without social media, that would be ancient history in 2018. But the internet remembers, and it won’t let Lohan forget.
