‘Logan’ Receives Praise From ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’ Director…

'Logan' director James Mangold receives praise his work on the film from 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' director James Gunn.


Logan, the final installment of the Wolverine film series, has opened to critical and box office success with fans praising the film as a fitting conclusion to the titular hero’s story. Now the film’s director, James Mangold, has received praise from another filmmaker who is familiar with tackling projects based on comic book heroes.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 director James Gunn praised Logan on his official Twitter account, expressing his gratitude for one of his best theater experiences. Later that day, Mangold responded with a few simple words of appreciation for Gunn.

James Gunn will soon have the spotlight turned on him when the highly anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is released in theaters on May 5, 2017.

In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young Mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.

Directed by James Mangold, Logan stars Hugh Jackman, Dafne Keen, Richard E. Grant, Boyd Holbrook, Doris Morgado, Stephen Merchant, Elizabeth Rodriguez and Patrick Stewart.
