A new featurette released for Logan takes us on an emotional journey through Hugh Jackman’s career playing the iconic clawed mutant Wolverine in the X-Men franchise with director James Mangold and Charles Xavier himself, Sir Patrick Stewart.
In the featurette, Mangold shares the importance of making sure this was not Jackman’s last movie in the role, but rather his best movie and Jackman expresses his gratitude for being able to play the character for the last 17 years.
You can watch the featurette below.
Jackman has also shared a behind the scenes look at him during an ADR sessions for a Wolverine moment fans had always been waiting to see, the scene in which (spoiler alert) Logan goes full berserker as he takes out the Reavers in an effort to save X-23 (Dafne Keen) and the rest of the children during the film’s finale. You can check it out below.
The film stars Hugh Jackman, Sir Patrick Stewart, Dafne Keen, Stephen Merchant, Richard E. Grant, Eriq LaSalle, Elizabeth Rodriguez, and Boyd Holbrook. Here’s the official synopsis:
“In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.”
