Alamo Drafthouse has released the details for Logan Noir, the special one-night-only screening of Logan in black and white.
A monochromatic version of the film is very exciting for fans of Logan. 20th Century Fox saw a positive response last fall when the studio kicked off the social media campaign with a slew of moody black and white stills from the film.
The black and white screening for Hugh Jackman’s final outing as the clawed mutant hero will include a special live stream Q&A with director James Mangold will take place at Alama Drafthouse cinemas. Tickets for the event and locations can be found on the Alama Drafthouse website.
Guests in attendance are encouraged to wear only black and white clothing. As an incentive, Alamo Drafthouse will be offering an exclusive commemorative event poster for audience members in proper black and white attire.
Logan stars Hugh Jackman, Sir Patrick Stewart, Dafne Keen, Stephen Merchant, Richard E. Grant, Eriq LaSalle, Elizabeth Rodriguez, and Boyd Holbrook. Here’s the official synopsis:
“In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.”
