Fans have been eager to learn more information about the Marvel and Disney+ Loki series since the project was first announced, especially considering the character met his demise at the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. A recent rumor suggested the series would focus on a younger Loki with Tom Hiddleston serving as the show’s narrator, but the actor remained silent on the details when discussing the project at the convention:
“I think I posted something about this. It’s very exciting. I cannot say much about it, I’m afraid. Time will tell.”
However, Tom Hiddleston did mention that he was impressed by the some of theories fans have developed regarding Loki’s fate:
“Listen… I’ve heard some amazing theories about this. I was in a park in London a couple of weeks ago, and some guys came and said hi, and they asked me the same question. They said, ‘Hey, listen, we need an answer to this question. All the other times Loki’s died’ — there’s been a few — ‘he stabs with his right hand. And now he’s stabbing with his left hand.’ I was like, ‘That’s incredible attention to detail.'”
Loki’s fate may be settled once and for all in the fourth Avengers film.
